  • What levels do you tutor?

    I offer personalised English tuition for GCSE, National 5, and Highers — including English Language and Literature.
  • Do you teach any other subjects?
    No. I specialise exclusively in English. This allows me to offer focused and up-to-date expertise in one subject.
  • Are you DBS-checked?
    Yes. I hold an enhanced DBS certificate, and safeguarding is always a priority in my tutoring.
  • How long have you been tutoring?
    I’ve delivered hundreds of hours of one-to-one English tuition over a period of two years and have supported a wide range of students across different abilities and needs — from those aiming for top grades to those building confidence in the basics.
  • Can you support students with special educational needs?
    Absolutely. I have experience tutoring students with ASD, ADHD, dyslexia, and anxiety.
  • How flexible is the Summer School timetable?
    Very flexible. The course is structured with clear learning goals, but hours can be adapted to fit around your summer plans. You might choose a three-week intensive (8 hours/week) or spread your hours across six weeks with fewer sessions per week — we’ll work together to find what suits you.
  • Is tuition available in-person or online?

    Both! I offer online sessions and in-person tutoring in NW London, depending on your preference and availability.
  • Do you offer trial sessions?
    No. However, I offer a free 30-minute introductory call to discuss your child’s needs and goals.
  • What’s included in the cost of tuition?
    All sessions include preparation, tailored materials, and written progress reports. You’ll also get ongoing support via WhatsApp between sessions.
  • When and how do I pay for tuition?
    Invoices will be issued at the end of each month. Payment should be made on receipt of invoice.
  • What if I need to cancel a tuition session?
    Written notice needs to be sent at least 12 hours in advance either by WhatsApp or email; otherwise, the full Session fee will be charged.
